South Middle School talks bullying and awards character
Students at South Middle School attended an assembly based on their grade level on Tuesday. Dignity for All Students was a theme of this month’s assembly with presentations and two different performers throughout the day.
Ms. Melvin read a poem and performed a song, both original pieces of the talented member of South Middle School community.
Mr. Donaldson, School Counselor also read a poem before he gave a presentation about bullying.
Certificates are awarded to students who displayed quality characteristics based on the theme of the month. Themes were: September: Serviceable and October: Organized. November’s theme is: Up stander, to give students an opportunity to utilize what they learned at the assembly today.
