Virtual NCAA Presentation: Empowering Student-Athletes and Their Families
On November 22, 2022 at 6:00 PM will be holding an in-person NCAA Presentation: Empowering Student Athletes and their Families at NFA North campus auditorium. This presentation is a good resource for athletes, coaches and their families who participate in athletics. It is highly recommended that all Fall, Winter, and Spring athletes attend this presentation.
The National Collegiate Athletic Association is an organization dedicated to providing a pathway to opportunity for college athletes. More than 1,100 colleges and universities are members of the NCAA.
As a college-bound student-athlete, you are responsible for your eligibility — that means planning ahead, taking high school classes seriously, and protecting your amateur status. It can be a difficult first step, but the benefits of being a student-athlete are worth the effort. This Presentation will help you understand the eligibility requirements for being a college athlete as well as your role and responsibilities in the process.
