7th and 8th grade students attend Girls Science Day at Columbia University

On Saturday, November 11th, 38 7th-8th grade girls from Meadow Hill and Temple Hill were accompanied by Mrs. Nonnon, Ms. Rodriguez, Mr. Homan and Mrs. Nesbitt to NYC to attend Girls Science Day at Columbia University.  The girls from Newburgh enjoyed science labs in different groups and classrooms.  They sat through a presentation from one of the science professors and were captivated by some of the events.  The University students had lunch brought in and made their own ice cream in the lunch hall.
