Balmville 5th Grade Mystery Reader Revealed!

On Friday, February 11th, Dr. Pedro Roman visited Mrs. Crozzoli and Ms. D'Amico's fifth grade class as part of their Mystery Readers campaign to promote literacy. The Assistant Superintendent and Chief Equity Officer read How Full is Your Bucket, written by Tom Rath and Mary Reckmeyer.  The scholars enjoyed the book's message of kindness and discussed ways to promote it in their daily lives.  After the reading, one scholar mentioned how being kind to others can create a "domino effect" of kindness. Dr. Roman encouraged the scholars to lead with kindness in all things and their "buckets" will never be empty.
