Join Us For A Master Class Celebrating Women's History Month

My Brother's Keeper and My Sister's Keeper are celebrating by hosting a Master Class spotlighting the accomplishments of four local women that are trailblazers in their respective careers and communities. Every Wednesday, through March 30th, a virtual presentation featuring one of four local women will be streamed via google meet.

Genesis Ramos currently serves as the Executive Director of the Mount Saint Mary’s College Desmond Community Engagement and Wellness Center, which is a new endeavor for the college. The Center focuses on equitable, inclusive, and sustainable health and wellness supports and outcomes for the community. She is a freelance Justice, Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion Consultant who has worked in the public sector. Genesis is the first woman of color to be elected to the Orange County Legislature for the 6th district. She is a lifetime resident of the City of Newburgh.

My Brother's Keeper y My Sister's Keeper están celebrando con una clase magistral que destaca los logros de cuatro mujeres locales que son pioneras en sus respectivas carreras y comunidades. Todos los miércoles, hasta el 30 de marzo, se transmitirá una presentación virtual con una de las cuatro mujeres locales a través de Google Meet.

Génesis Ramos actualmente se desempeña como Directora Ejecutiva del Centro de Bienestar y Compromiso Comunitario Desmond de Mount Saint Mary's College, que es un nuevo esfuerzo para la universidad. El Centro se enfoca en apoyos y resultados de salud y bienestar equitativos, inclusivos y sostenibles para la comunidad. Es una consultora independiente de justicia, equidad, diversidad e inclusión que ha trabajado en el sector público. Génesis es la primera mujer de color elegida para la Legislatura del Condado de Orange para el distrito 6. Es residente vitalicia de la ciudad de Newburgh.
