Cornerstone Family Healthcare Dental Van Visits GAMS to Promote Dental Health
On Thursday, March 31st, the Cornerstone Family Healthcare Dental Van visited GAMS to promote dental hygiene. Cornerstone's Outreach Coordinator, Lesly Retamozo explained to the children the importance of eating healthy foods and brushing their teeth daily. During the students' dental screenings, Cornerstone Dental Hygienist, Christina, reiterated the value of brushing their teeth a minimum of two times per day.
A total of 92 GAMS scholars received a dental screening, a Dental Examination Report Card for their parents, and a goodie bag containing a toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, a sand timer and dental hygiene tips.
The children were all smiles as they exited the Cornerstone Family Healthcare van with goodie bags in-hand.
