GAMS Hosts
On Wednesday, May 18th, the Fine and Performing Arts Department at GAMS hosted a wonderful art show and concert.
An Art show displaying artwork from 200 4th and 5th graders was staged in the lobby and entry hallways. The theme was GAMS CAFE! Beautiful ceramics, painted works and giant stuffed 3D art graced the building as families and musicians arrived for the Musical Concert.
The Orchestra, Band and Chorus (over 100 musicians) performed music of all styles and cultures and filled the performing space with lyrical melodies from the strings, to a variety of songs from young voices, to the band playing old favorites with gusto!
The live concert was the first in 3 years and a thrill for the performers as well as the gracious and proud audience of families and friends.
