Vails Gate Fifth Graders and Kindergarteners Read Together in the Dark

On Friday, May 20th, Vails Gate fifth graders and kindergarteners had a Flashlight Reading Celebration. The fifth graders choose books to read with the kindergarteners. Ms. Kelleher, shut off all the lights, lowered the blinds and provided flashlights to the children to read in the dark together. The fifth graders meet with the kindergarteners every Friday to do special activities together and learn amazing things from one another.
