NFA Main Scholars Present PSA on Newburgh Water Crisis at Youth Conference
On Wednesday, May 25th Vassar College hosted a Transformative Classroom Learning Youth Conference. NECSD scholars in grades K-12 presented on wide range of topics from cultural awareness to identity definitions. The students from NFA Main Campus created a PSA on the Newburgh Water Crisis. Their presentation was to bring awareness to the problem, the solutions, what is still being done, and the need to get residents tested for exposure. The PSA will be available in both English and Spanish. The project will be shown to Social Studies classes before the end of the school year and available online for community access.
