Air National Guard Airmen Visit GAMS for Reading Event

Airmen from the 105th Air National Guard were welcomed by Gidney Avenue Memorial School for a Read Leader Event. Capt. Luz Garcia, (former GAMS student) Airman Michelle Jaramillo, Tsgt Stephanie Wilkinson, Tsgt Darlene Long, Tsgt Andrea Scott, and MSgt Cynthia DuBois read books to the students about Patriotism or “Leader in Me” character trait books. The Airmen were escorted by GAMS fifth grade leaders. The book reading was followed by a Q&A session where the airmen answered questions about their career in the United States Air Force.
