Temple Hill Students Create Poems as Culminating Project
8th Grade ELA students from Temple Hill Academy created 3-voice poems as a culminating collaborative project for the novel, Refugee by Alan Gratz. Students captured the voices of the three protagonists, Josef, Isabel, and Mahmoud, and their perilous journeys as refugees. The students featured in the video are Stephanie Romano, Le'monnie Bailey, Rayden Gould, Jonathan Gonzaga, Liliana Reyes, and Angel Castilla Arellano. ELA teachers, Caroline Schwind and Rebecca Butzbach collaborated with ITF, Daniel Svarczkopf to highlight their students' achievements.
Story and videos provided by Ms. Caroline Schwind and Mr. Daniel Svarczkopf.
