NECSD Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Team presented at the 23rd Annual Multicultural Education Conference at SUNY New Paltz
On November 17th, members of the NECSD Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Team presented at the 23rd Annual Multicultural Education Conference at SUNY New Paltz. Their workshop, entitled "Examining Bias and Stereotypes Through the Social Emotional Learning Model", highlighted the roles of SEL instruction and multidisciplinary collaboration in identifying and addressing educational and social bias.
The NECSD SEL Team is a multidisciplinary team of School Psychologists, School Social Workers, and School Counselors that collaborate to implement SEL instruction, support and programming at the K-5 level.
