Vails Gate STEAM Academy Visited by Local Author

On Friday, October 21st, author Alphonzo Macon visited Vails Gate STEAM Academy to read to scholars his book entitled It's Sleepy Time. He visited multiple classrooms to share the story of his family and his youngest son Parker would do anything possible to avoid going to bed. Our students had a great time listening to the story being read to them and were very excited to have an author spend some time with them. He held a brief Q&A session with the scholars after the reading. We are so thankful that Mr. Macon took some time to share his writing talents with us.
