Gardnertown Leadership Academy Hosts Special Guest for Veteran's Day

On Thursday, November 10, 2022, Mrs. Ruggiero and Mrs. Lewis' Pre-K classes welcomed Sgt. Guion from the Air Force to Gardnertown Leadership Academy.  Pre-K students sang a Veterans Day Poppy Song, handed him thank you cards, and listened as he shared the meaning behind Veterans Day, his uniform, his different hats, his coins, and his deployment.  We are thankful we had the opportunity to meet him and to express our gratitude for his service and the service of all veterans.
