EARLY DISMISSAL | Friday, December 23, 2022

Hello Goldbacks!

Based on the anticipated weather forecast for tomorrow, all NECSD schools will be on a standard early dismissal schedule for Friday, December 23, 2022. Dismissal times are as follows:

• Heritage and South Middle schools, and all NFA campuses will dismiss at 10:15AM (Tier 1)
• GAMS, Meadow Hill, Temple Hill and Vails Gate STEAM Academy will dismiss at 11:15AM (Tier 2)
• Balmville, Fostertown, Gardnertown, Horizons, New Windsor and Pre-K @ GAMS will dismiss at 12:15PM (Tier 3)

Students will be dismissed and school buses will depart from schools using this schedule.

Some information about preparing for the weather that is predicted:
Governor Kathy Hochul has declared a State of Emergency for New York State. 

Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation is advising customers to prepare for a powerful cold front that could bring damaging winds and heavy rain to the area. Weather forecasts currently predict wind gusts of up to 50 miles per hour, and possibly greater at higher elevations, which could cause trees and limbs to fall onto power lines. Según el pronóstico del tiempo anticipado para mañana, todas las escuelas de NECSD tendrán un horario de salida temprano estándar para el viernes 23 de diciembre de 2022. Los horarios de salida son los siguientes:

• Las escuelas Heritage y South Middle, y todos los campus de NFA cerrarán a las 10:15 a. m.  (Nivel 1)
