Balmville National Elementary Honor Society Hosts Food Drive
The Balmville Community and Walden Savings Bank came together and donated food baskets to 14 families for the holiday season. The baskets included food items that were donated as well as perishable items that were purchased with the $437.00 donation received from the bank. Such items included ham, potatoes and carrots. In addition to the food drive, the National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS) also collected hats, scarves, mittens and socks that were also distributed to families. Thank you to everyone who participated especially the NEHS students and advisors for hosting such a successful event that brought joy to many families this holiday season.
