NFA Boys Swimming & Diving Team Wins OCIAA Division 1 Championships
Newburgh Free Academy Boys Swimming and Diving won OCIAA Division 1 championships this weekend after going the entire season undefeated in their division!
Cole Mullarkey came in first for diving in Division 1.
NFA took first place in 200 Freestyle Relay with a team of Aidan Domanico, Jackson Gerbes, Angelo Reade, Jack Mummery.
A special shoutout to NFA Security and Washingtonville High School! The OCIAA Division 1 Championships were held at Newburgh Free Academy on Friday night when the high school experienced a power outage. NFA Security calmly and efficiently evacuated athletes and spectators from the building. The competition resumed the following day at Washingtonville High School. It truly takes a community to support our athletes. We are thankful for everyone who contributes!
The NFA Boys Swimming & Diving team is coached by Zach Williams. Story details were contributed by NFA swim moms Michelle Pagano and Danielle Mullarkey. Photo provided by Michelle Pagano.
Go Goldbacks!
