HMS African American History Month Art Project to be Used for School Musical
Students in Ms. McCarthy's Art Class are celebrating February with an African American History Month Art Project. Students worked with Adinkra Stamps from West African Cultures and created patterns that have symbolic meaning. The fabric created reflects the community among the students. Some of the fabric will be used in Ms. Clina's rendition of The Lion King that will be performed on April 28th and 29th.
Story and photos provided by Ms. McCarthy.
