NFA Health Science Students Train Peers on Health Saving Techniques
NFA health science students have been busy training their peers and performing blood pressure screenings at NFA North and Newburgh Armory Scholars in Scrubs!
Seniors who are part of the Health Science Pathway are now trained in Basic Life Support (BLS), certified through the American Heart Association and certified BLS Instructor Linda Romano.
The pathway program has been conducting training clinics where the seniors are teaching faculty, staff, and students throughout NFA North.
This student lead project began at the start of the month and will continue throughout February. The students have a goal to train as many as possible to use and AED and hands only CPR.
