School Social Workers Present at 28th Annual Multicultural Education Conference
Members of our School Social Work Department partnered with Dr. Ebony Green of Cornerstone Equity Consultants to present at the 28th Annual Multicultural Education Conference at SUNY New Paltz on March 3rd. Tanika Mccullough, Amy Pittari, Carrie Frost and Dr. Green lead a workshop entitled, "Self Compassion for Educators," which explored the impacts of unprocessed trauma in the context of cultural, environmental, and societal factors, and discussed ways of nurturing resiliency factors within the educational community.
