NECSD FPA Hosts "Arts in Our Schools" Artist Reception at the Ritz Theatre
The NECSD Fine & Performing Arts Department has returned to the Ritz Theater for its annual student art show, complete with a reception! All art students in the district were invited to submit artwork for the show. Art teachers chose ten of their students' submissions in grades K-12 across the district to participate in the "Arts in Our Schools Month" with a District-wide visual arts display at the Ritz Theater. A reception for students and their families, friends, and community members was held on March 8 from 4:00-6:00pm. Over 180 students participated, and their artwork will remain in the lobby at the Ritz Theater until March 31. The entrance to the lobby is through Safe Harbours, 111 Broadway. Please call ahead to Safe Harbours for hours of availability to view the show: 845-562-6940. And, please check with your child's art teacher for further information.
