Heritage After School Program Focuses on Crafts and Wellness
Students enrolled in the Empire After School Program's Crocheting & Crafts Club at Heritage Middle School learn how crafts can help de-stress and build self esteem. Students have fun while learning how to crochet various items, make balloon animals, bracelets, and other things. Along with learning something new, studies have shown that crocheting reduces stress and anxiety, relaxes your mind and builds self esteem. It’s a win-win for our students!
