4th Grade Scholars at Temple Hill Compete in "Battle of the Sports" Competition
As a culminating activity, for the ARC Core Unit 4 “Sports in Society”, Temple Hill Academy’s fourth graders participated in a “Battle of the Sports” competition. They competed in five various events to see who would be deemed the G.O.A.T. The events were, 100 meter Sprint, Long Jump, Football Toss, Wheelbarrow Race, and Around the World Basketball. The students performed to the best of their abilities, while practicing sportsmanship, and having fun. The first place winners of each event, from each classroom, then participated in a championship round. The winners received bronze, silver and gold medals for their accomplishments.
