ESYP at GAMS | Arrival & Dismissal Procedures

Hello Parent and Guardians,

I am looking forward to a very exciting summer school experience! As we host all elementary programs at Gidney Avenue Memorial School (GAMS), we understand that this might be a family's first experience at our school.

As a reminder, school bus routes can be found on the district website or by clicking this link.

To streamline Arrival and Dismissal for those utilizing private transportation during Student Drop off and Pick up for ESYP, please follow these instructions. 

Student Drop Off | Beginning at 8:15am, vehicles will enter the back parking loop on Gidney Avenue and drop off students into the cafeteria at arrival and then exit the parking lot.

Dismissal | Beginning at 11:45am, families can start forming the line for pick up in that same loop, please stay in your cars. 

In order to be as efficient as possible during the first two weeks of ESYP, please send a note with your child if they are  going to be picked up and/or dropped off in addition to completing the form below. Please include your child’s name, if they will be dropped off, picked up, or both, and who they will be transported by. This additional information will help lines move more quickly as we continue to learn about our ESYP students and their families. 

If you are going to be dropping off and picking up your child for the entire Extended School Year Program (ESYP), please complete this google form or scan the QR code below to access the form. 

Please CLICK HERE to sign up for parent pick up and drop off daily.

Finally, please label your child’s bookbag with an identification tag to help us meet your child.
