Introducing the NECSD Reading Buddies App
The NECSD Reading Buddies App is a library of children's books read alouds read by kids for kids. It offers 17 book choices, including Spanish options, and provides a new learning opportunity for early readers to build reading skills. This app was built by Mrs. Elizabeth Thomas-Cappello and her students in the ECHS Marist Partnership Program Software Development class and in partnership with GBTV at NFA-Main. It features volunteer readers that include scholars in grades 10 and 11, as well as Dr. Manning Campbell, NECSD Superintendent and Ms. Valentino, NFA-Main Co-Principal.
