NFA North Campus Expect 60 donors at Blood Drive
Newburgh Free Academy, North Campus hosted a Blood Drive this week. Team Captains organized 35 student volunteers throughout the day and expected to see around 60 donors – mostly students, but some teachers and members of the community.
“I’ve always wanted to be a nurse or a doctor. I like the idea of helping to save lives through the CNA program and through this blood drive. I’m doing the CNA Program, so I can work during college. I really want to be an ER physician eventually.” Aponi Glover, Senior and Blood Drive Team Captain, is part of the Certified Nursing Assistant Program – a program that allows students to earn clinical hours and sit for the Certified Nursing Assistant Exam upon graduation of NFA North Campus.
