NECSD Set to Donate Over 1,300 Backpacks Filled with School Supplies

The Newburgh Enlarged City School District (NECSD) will be donating over 1,300 backpacks to our scholars (while supplies last) at the Back to School: School is Cool event on Saturday, August 19th from 1pm - 4pm at the Newburgh Free Library Plaza. The Family and Community Engagement (FACE) team worked tirelessly packing the backpacks with school supplies for our scholars and the upcoming event. We are excited to kickoff the 2023-2024 school year with this event that will feature fun-filled activities for the community including music, dancing, food, and much more.
