Dear South Middle School students, families, and staff,
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2023-2024 school year! I hope you all had an enjoyable and relaxing summer. We are excited to have students back in the classrooms and hallways, filling them with energy and enthusiasm for learning.
This year we have several new administrators, teachers, and support staff joining the South Middle School community. Please join me in giving them a warm welcome. They bring new ideas, strengths, and talents that will contribute to making this school year positive and productive for all.

As your principal, it is my goal that every student feels safe, challenged, and supported at school. We want you to take risks, ask questions, and engage in your learning. Our dedicated staff is here to make that happen. We will work every day to create an environment where you can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Families, your involvement and support makes a big difference. We want to hear from you and partner with you in supporting your child's education. Communicating with teachers and administrators, attending school events, and volunteering when possible are all greatly appreciated.
Let's make this year one of growth, achievement, and community. Together, through hard work and commitment, we will make it a great year for the students of South Middle School. Here's to a positive and productive 2023-2024 school year!
