Mid Hudson Times Poses Question to Newburgh Free Academy, North Campus Students
Each week, the Mid Hudson Times poses questions to students. This week, their question was: "How can someone be a good leader, like Martin Luther King Jr?" Find these students and their responses in the Wednesday, January 24th edition of the Mid Hudson Times!
Jason McLaren, 12th grade, Senior Class President. “Two very important things that make a leader great are passion and happiness. Passion enlists trusts and shows that you care for what you’re fighting for. Happiness reflects upon the other people watching what you’re fighting for and what you’re passionate about and that basically rubs off and makes people feel happier too.”
Zadie Patterson, 9th grade, “People with their true passion can take a stand for what they truly believe and use it to cause a positive change in the world and people around them.”
Jazmine Barnhill, 10th grade, “I think a good leader sets an example for others to follow. And they motivate them to pursue their own beliefs and values.”
Qualib Smith, 10th grade, “I believe a good leader should show a set path, in order for others to follow him. And also, for him to show the love and passion for what he believes in.”
