NFA Athletics Teams Dedicating Games to Morgan's Message
NFA athletics teams have been dedicating a game in honor of Morgan's Message. The NFA Volleyball team dedicated their match on October 10th to the cause.
The dedication is to "Morgan's Message" in honor of Duke lacrosse player Morgan Rogers who died by suicide in 2019. More specific info about Morgan and the foundation can be found here https://morgansmessage.
Our hope is to begin the discussion on mental health within our Goldback athletic community. Too often athletes (and students) suffer in silence and do not prioritize their mental well-being as they do their physical health for performance.
The NFA Volleyball team is coached by Head Coach Katie-Lee Mineo and Assistant Coach Edwin Quezada.
