Letter for Families about Cell Phone Use and Yondr Pouches

Dear Parents/Guardians, 

I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. We are excited to share with you an exciting initiative we are implementing in our school to further enhance the learning environment for your children. Starting November 28th at NFA North Campus (tentatively) and December 11th for NFA Main Campus (tentatively), we will be introducing Yondr Pouches to our school. These innovative pouches are designed to promote focus, reduce distractions, and create a more conducive learning environment. Yondr Pouches are a tool that can help students manage their device usage during class time. They are designed to securely store and lock away electronic devices such as smartphones, smart watches, airpods and tablets, allowing students to concentrate on their lessons without the temptation of distractions. 

Here are some key benefits of implementing Yondr Pouches in our school:

Increased Focus: With electronic devices safely stowed away, students can dedicate their full attention to their lessons, resulting in improved comprehension and retention of material. 

Reduced Distractions: By minimizing access to non-educational content, we aim to create a more focused and productive learning environment. 

Promoting Social Interaction: Encouraging face-to-face interaction and reducing screen time during class promotes healthy social development among students. 

Enhanced Classroom Management: Teachers will have a more structured and controlled learning environment, enabling them to provide more effective instruction. 

Encouraging Responsible Device Usage: Yondr Pouches teach students the importance of managing their screen time and respecting classroom rules. 

We understand that you may have some questions or concerns about this new initiative, and we welcome the opportunity to address them. Please feel free to reach out to our school administration or attend the upcoming NFA Main and NFA North Parent Town Hall meeting on Thursday, November 9th @ 6:00pm at NFA Main Campus Auditorium, doors will open at 5:30pm,  where we will be happy to provide further information.

Espero que esta carta lo encuentre con buena salud y buen humor. Estamos emocionados de compartir con ustedes una interesante iniciativa que estamos implementando en nuestra escuela para mejorar aún más el ambiente de aprendizaje para sus hijos. A partir de 28 de noviembre en NFA North Campus (tentativamente) y 11 de diciembre en NFA Main Campus (tentativamente), Presentaremos Yondr Bags a nuestra escuela. Estas innovadoras bolsas están diseñadas para promover la concentración, reducir las distracciones y crear un entorno de aprendizaje más propicio. Yondr Pouches es una herramienta que puede ayudar a los estudiantes a administrar el uso de su dispositivo durante el tiempo de clase. Están diseñados para almacenar y guardar de forma segura dispositivos electrónicos como teléfonos inteligentes, relojes inteligentes, airpods y tabletas, lo que permite a los estudiantes concentrarse en sus lecciones sin la tentación de distracciones.

Estos son algunos de los beneficios clave de implementar Yondr Bags en nuestra escuela:

Mayor enfoque:Con los dispositivos electrónicos guardados de forma segura, los estudiantes pueden dedicar toda su atención a sus lecciones, lo que mejora la comprensión y retención del material.

Fomentar el uso responsable de dispositivos: Yondr Pouches enseña a los estudiantes la importancia de gestionar su tiempo frente a la pantalla y respetar las reglas del aula.

Entendemos que pueda tener algunas preguntas o inquietudes sobre esta nueva iniciativa y agradecemos la oportunidad de abordarlas. No dude en comunicarse con la administración de nuestra escuela o asistir a la próxima NFA principal y NFA norte Reunión del ayuntamiento de padres el jueves 9 de noviembre a las 6:00 p. m. en el auditorio del campus principal de la NFA, las puertas se abrirán a las 5:30 p. m.,  donde estaremos encantados de proporcionarle más información.

Creemos que la introducción de Yondr Bags será una valiosa adición a nuestro entorno de aprendizaje y contribuirá al éxito académico y al crecimiento personal de sus hijos. Apreciamos su apoyo en este esfuerzo y esperamos trabajar juntos para crear una experiencia educativa positiva y enriquecedora para todos nuestros estudiantes.
