NFA US History Students See Curriculum Come to Life at Broadway's Hamilton
US History students at NFA Main had the opportunity to go to see the Hamilton musical on December 6th. This program is sponsored by the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History. Students started the day by taking a tour of St. Patrick's Cathedral. Then they went to Rockefeller Center to see the tree and learn about the Rockefeller family and the foundation that helped pay for the Hamilton tickets. In the afternoon students enjoyed the musical which was followed by a question and answer session with some of the cast. Students had a great time seeing the curriculum for U.S. History come alive in an engaging way.
