New Windsor School Scholars Present Holiday Play "The Hat" Based on Book
Mrs. Cruz and Mrs. Campbell’s 1st Grade class proudly presented their class holiday play “The Hat” based on the book by Jan Brett. The students spent 3 weeks preparing the play, learning their lines, building scenery, and creating their own hats and shirts to wear for the big day! Families were invited to come in and watch their performance and sing along to the holiday songs: “Frosty the Snowman” and “Jingle Bell Rock.” After the performance, students gave their families special gifts and enjoyed refreshments. The students did a phenomenal job and it was a wonderful event for all!
