Horizons on the Hudson Students Receive Project Linus Donation
Horizons on the Hudson students received a special gift from Project Linus. Their mission is to "provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children... lovingly created by volunteer “blanketeers.” Coordinated with Ms. Lisa Boughton, School Psychologist, volunteer "blanketeer" Julia Sullivan kindly donated dozens of cozy blankets for our children. Students were able to pick the patterns and colors that excited them most to take home with them.
Since the start of the project in 1995 Project Linus has donated nearly 1 million blankets to children across the country.
