Fostertown Scholars Receive Love from Around the Country!

Fostertown scholars in Mrs. Flannery and Ms. DeFabio's class have been receiving love from around the country (and parts of the world!). Since the start of the project, students have been receiving bundles of mail each day from friends, family, and retired teachers. They are hoping to receive a card from each state by the end of the project. To date, they have also received greetings from three countries (Ireland, England, Denmark)! Students are learning about geography in the process! 

The class is also partnering with a class at an International School for Autism on this project and the classes will be asking their families to send cards as well. 

The cards, along with a large map is displayed in the hallway outside of their classroom to bring joy to everyone who passes by.
