Flag pole fixtures | Newburgh Free Academy
Last night during the public comment section of the Board of Education meeting, two members of our community spoke about concerns they had for missing flag poles at one of our schools. Our Department of Facilities and Maintenance is aware of the issues and new ropes and new flags are on hand to fix the flag poles in question.
At this time, we are in contact with the City of Newburgh Fire Department who will assist in reaching the height of the flag pole to replace the necessary items, so that the American flags will be flown as they are at all of our school and district buildings. We anticipate the issue to be resolved by the end of the day, Thursday, February 29th.
