Meadow Hill Hosts Valentine’s Day Luncheon for Senior Residents
On Saturday, February 2, Meadow Hill students and staff in collaboration with the Town of Newburgh Recreation Center held a Valentine’s luncheon for local senior citizen residents. Over 70 senior residents were in attendance for the special event. A festive lunch was served by students and staff members in an effort to support the school’s initiative to continue to give back to the community. A very special thank you to Christian Farella and all of the co-owners of Brother’s Barbeque for generously donating the delicious food. A special thanks must also go to Patricia Gida, Town of Newburgh Recreation Aide, for providing a DJ, decorations and a helping hand. Finally, thank you to all the Meadow Hill Gems and community members that generously volunteered their time to engage in this community service event in an effort to continue to make a difference in the lives of others.
