Heritage Middle School Scholar, Teacher, and NFA Teacher Represent at All County Jazz

Heritage Middle School scholar musician Drake Burns performed in Junior High All-County Jazz Band last month. Scholars were selected based on a musical audition open to all music students in the county in November. Drake spent the weekend working with conductor Mike Pacer. Heritage Middle School teacher Michael Hickey was this year's Jr High All County Ensemble Chair. Mr. Hickey called upon retired teacher Mike Pacer to conduct for this year's Jr High Jazz Ensemble. The scholars had a wonderful time learning and performing jazz.

Kristina Morano (NFA Main Band Director) was this year's High School Jazz Ensemble chair. Mrs. Morano called upon Andrew Lammly, Music teacher and Assistant Director of the Skidmore Jazz Institute to conduct High School Jazz. Scholars had a fantastic time with Mr. Lammly as their conductor.
