Nearly 70 Scholars Begin College Summer Courses at Marist College
Nearly 70 Newburgh Free Academy high school scholars began taking summer college courses at Marist College this week. Students are learning the rigor of college academics, becoming acquainted with a college campus, and thoroughly enjoying the dining hall. The NECSD Marist Early College High School Program allows high school scholars to advance their computer skills and earn up to 26 college credits, which can equate to a full year of college toward a Bachelor of Science degree — before graduating from high school!
