Each week, the Mid Hudson Times poses questions to students. This week, the question was: "What would you do if you were President for the day?"

Find these scholars and their responses in the Wednesday, February 21st edition of the Mid Hudson Times! 

Jay Domond, 8th
"If I were president for the day, I would lower taxes and make immigration faster."

Matthew Worrell, 8th
"I would reach out to other nations and apologize for the wars because it was selfish. I would also make sure we were all equal together, so there would be no racism or segregation and we would see each other as human beings - as equals."

Johnathan Butts, 7th
"I would make sure everyone is equal and reach out to leaders of the world and make them more unified."

Melanie Rodriguez, 7th
"I would get a group of people and ask if they want to join to help homeless people. We would help them find a job, shelter, and food."

Haddijatou Jammeh, 6th
"I would at least try to stop all wars between countries or cities or since I'm a little younger, I would try to stop bullying."

Xavier Williams, 7th
"I would try to figure out how to end all the problems that are in the world."
