Dear NECSD students and families,
This message is a follow-up to one that was shared in May 2024 titled Code of Conduct Advisory Committees | Sign Up Here.
Each year, the Code of Conduct is reviewed for necessary updates based on Federal, State, and local laws, as well as the guidelines and directives of the New York State Department of Education and the Board of Regents and community input.
This year, the district will convene a committee and facilitate focus groups in order to gather community input about this important topic. Please complete the form below if you are interested in participating and you will be contacted with more information. (If you completed this form in May, you do not have to complete it again.) We anticipate the process to begin more fully in January 2025.
