GAMS Hosts Storybook Parade

Our youngest learners at Gidney Avenue Memorial School (GAMS) participated in a storybook parade through their school. The event aimed to celebrate the importance of literacy while promoting excitement around reading. Students and their classmates dressed up with outfits and props that represented a book they had read together this year. Students marched through the hallways to cheers from their older peers. Families were invited to the event as one way that we can collaborate in celebrating literacy in our schools and at home with our scholars.
