NFA Alumna and Local Dentist Visits Balmville School to Discuss Dental Health

Dr. Gina Prokosch-Cook, DDS came to Balmville Elementary School to speak to our Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten classes about dental health. She talked about proper oral hygiene practices, the importance of regular dental checkups, and how to prevent tooth decay by promoting healthy eating habits. She used her puppet to teach proper brushing technique and had them look at different foods that are good and bad for teeth. The scholars had a great time and loved the goody bags she gave them.
