South Middle School Theater Proudly Presents: Beautiful Hair The Musical
Beautiful Hair The Musical is the story of an academically gifted, African-American high school senior named Jamila who runs for Student Body President as she attempts to improve her academic resume for Princeton. When Jamila finds herself the target of a cruel bully who just so happens to be the most popular girl in school, she is forced to confront the bully, her fears and her deepest insecurities.

Beautiful Hair The Musical es la historia de Jamila, una afroamericana con talento académico que cursa el último año de secundaria y que se postula para ser presidenta del cuerpo estudiantil en un intento por mejorar su currículum académico para Princeton. Cuando Jamila se convierte en el blanco de un cruel acosador que resulta ser la chica más popular de la escuela, se ve obligada a enfrentarse al acosador, a sus miedos y a sus inseguridades más profundas.
