NFA's Health Science Students Promote Heart Health
Newburgh Free Academy's Health Science Pathway Students – HOSA-Future Healthcare Professionals have been hosting clinics throughout the month of February to raise awareness for American Heart Month. On Valentine's Day, students set up a demonstration and workshop area in the main lobby to educate their high school community about various life-saving techniques and preventative measures that can be taken to support good heart health.

- Time: 8:45 AM – 1:00 PM
Thursday, February 27 – HOSA Walkathon Fundraiser
- Support heart health and wellness!
- Location: Gym (start at 2:30 PM)
- Walk ends at 4:00 PM | Awards at 4:30 PM
- How to participate:
- Sponsor a student- $1.00 per lap or a flat donation of $5.00 or more
- Walk with us!
Friday, February 28 – Healthy Heart Clinic
- Location: Room 201 A & B
- Open to: Faculty, staff, and students
- Time: Periods 1–8
- Services: Blood pressure checks, healthy living education, and interactive activities!
