Gardnertown Leadership Academy Pre-K Scholars Learn about Dental Health
Pre-K classes at Gardnertown Leadership Academy welcomed Dr. Gina Prokosch-Cook, a local dentist and NECSD alumni who presented an amazing amount of information to help students learn about what to expect when going to the dentist, how to properly brush our teeth, and some good food and drink choices which are healthier for our teeth. We also got to examine X-ray pictures and count how many teeth we found.
We are so thankful that Dr. Gina was able to visit us and share such good information helping us to realize the importance of dental health. She also sent each Pre-K student home with a bag of goodies to help encourage good dental health habits. Everyone was happy to receive a new toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, and stickers!
