Fostertown Students Learn History of Music and Dance as Part of Black History Month Celebration
Ms. Coleman, Ms. Legett, and Ms. Jerome organized and presented two assemblies to celebrate Black History Month. These amazing staff members took us all down memory lane with a History of Music and a History of Dance presentations for our Leaders at Fostertown. We learned the origins of many beats created from drums and that has evolved into all genres of music. We also learned the origins of traditional dance and the evolution of those dances into modern dance. Thank you for this amazing learning experience for our Leaders at Fostertown.
