NFA "Agents of Change" attended Young Women's Leadership Summit
NFA "Agents of Change" were selected to visit Manhattanville University. During their visit, the students attended a Young Women’s Leadership Summit. The workshop was established to carry on Ethel Kennedy’s legacy of human rights and civic service. It is project based workshop in which our students meet throughout the course of the year drafting and creating an action plan on an issue in their communities and how they can help combat it. It began last Spring with students focusing on the “why” of social change. This fall, they worked either individually or collaboratively with a facilitator on the “how of social change.” They crafted their goals, steps on achieving it as well as pitching their plan to their peers. They will present their final plans at the exhibition in Spring 2026.
