- The Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) program is for children that meet the age requirement. Your child must be age four (4) on or before December 1 of the school year you are registering for.
- The Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) program is available for established residents residing within the Newburgh Enlarged City School District. Residency verification documentation will be required. This also includes families who will be attending our Community Based UPK Partner Organizations.
- Students are placed based upon a zoning requirement. It is NOT a lottery or first come, first served process.
- Families will choose a preference of program within the application process.
- Transportation is available for students four years of age and older. Students who are three before December 1st can begin riding the school bus as soon as they turn four. If you have questions about alternate-stop transportation or general transportation questions please contact the Transportation Department at 845-568-6833 or email at transportation@NECSD.net
