NFA Alumni Return to Share College Perspective
The NFA Black History Club partnered with Ms. Parisia Hutchinson-Class of 2021- as she and other alumni presented a panel discussion for students and families.
The event was designed to empower students to explore various pathways for life after high school. Firsthand testimonies were given from NFA Alumni: Parisia Hutchinson, Fatou Jammeh, Akhiir McNeil, James Onwuka, and Dain Pinnock. This allowed students to get a glimpse into college life as well as the career and technical pathway. All those in attendance were inspired and energized to move forward in a positive and intentional way! The audience was made up of persons from elementary school age through adults in their 60's! Students were truly inspired and empowered to make tangible steps towards their futures.
